Thanks guys! I was skeptical if 17s would fill out my wheel well enough but they actually look great! Only downside is that I have to be really low and I scrape a LOT. Probably going to be running 18s or 19s next year for the sole purpose of extra driveablility
I think your car looked better in this stage to be honest, the front lip was enough to set it apart and it had some nice fitting wheels that looked sharp

Thanks. I wanted it to go lower than that (it looks ok in pictures but in person looked like a monster truck) so I did that and started running my Sawblades to see how they would look. I will be reverting it kind of back to the stage where it was before with some larger wheels, meatier tires (less stretch) and a little bit wider fitment. I want it to look like a B6 RS4 kind of concept. Not sure which wheels I want to run yet. Depends on what I get offered/what I can afford later on.
Okay! Update time! So being 19 and owing some money I decided to sell my dolphin grey b6 ( ) and downgrade a little. I was originally looking for a MK4 VR6 to have some fun with but all the ones worth buying also had owners that seemed to think they were worth way more than they were actually worth.. No thanks.
Then I found this beauty!
2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5 Speed Manual for $5000!
I went and looked at it, needs a little love, some missing/broken interior pieces, has some rust (nothing major) so it will be getting a full respray this spring probably (stay tuned ) but overall it ran great, has a stage 1+ tune so it's not unbearable to drive, came with a touchscreen pioneer head unit and wired for subs, clutch was good so I went for it!
This car has been owned by two smart owners and one dumb one (guy I bought it from) so it is definitely due for some love. First things first I headed over to Concept 1 and picked up some winters on the Cayenne/Toureg spare reps which look pretty sharp IMO! Also got some LED plate bulbs and a jug of oil!
New wheels!
Getting a little pampering
And went and had some fun in the snow with Danny, Dylan, Don, Kyle and Scott last night! Car performed great despite the fact that I abused it a little
So the build is still happening! First up I've ordered a timing belt kit from ECS (gates race timing belt, water pump with metal impeller, seals, tensioner, coolant etc..) and a 2.0T ignition kit conversion. parts will be in on Monday and I'll do the ignition, timing belt probably this coming weekend. After that I will be starting on the upgrades.
First up will be a thicker side mount intercooler, then some boost hoses and stuff and then the frankenturbo F21L kit. Hoping to put down around 300AWHP.
After the engine stuff is done to my satisfaction I will be prepping the car, repairing the rust and respraying it! It's going to stay black but it will definitely be getting a much more exciting version!
Stay tuned!
Dont think you'll see 300awhp on a frankenturbo, you might want to look into a GTRS or gt71r
Debateable. I've seen pretty conservative set ups make 280awhp+ I'm sure another 20 hp wouldn't be that hard to squeeze out.
I have decided to go GTRS anyways. Originally it was going to be too expensive but I found the turbo for $1500 on 034's website so going to start the build right away!
Haha! Thanks! I wasn't sure how they would look, seems like no one else has them on a b6 (I tried to google them before I bought them) but I decided it wouldn't hurt to do somethig different. Plus they're 18s and were very reasonably priced!
