  • Taking the M out to sibbald today

A long time ago I found a phenomenal back road that's paved and offers a lot of twisties. Me and my buddy will be heading down there today, I will be taking gopro footage of the road and our cars (he drives a 335i).

Will update when I get back!

Edit: looking at the wether today... Holding off, trying to keep the M out of the rain.

Hard to explain, it's on the way to the rifle range in sibbald creek. It's not very well known.

        Kyle,

I can't stress enough how angry and upset your video made me while watching it last night. You hit between 140-150 kph on two occasions in the video in residential areas, one clearly marked as a 50 zone. While you can go ahead and endanger yourself on a track, what you show in this video endangers those around you. Kids, parents, grandparents, etc... While I feel greatly for your recent loss, there is absolutely no excuse for what you have shown here, for all the world to see. Eurodrivers Car Club has no interest in having members sully the name of the Club and other car enthusiasts in this manner.

I ask you to please remove any stickers that associate you with us. I will be revoking your membership at this time. While all funds received from our club fees go to charity, if you wish a refund I can issue you one through either Paypal or email transfer.

I will leave your account active on eurodrivers for the time being so that you can respond to this message and or PM me if you wish. I will be forwarding this to CPS for their use and hope that you learn a valuable lesson through this experience.

And again, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

In an effort to move this thread along...

Is the road Hwy 68 to highway 40?

If so, that is one of my ultimate winter roads with a quattro, especially the jumping pound loops.

Anybody else care to share some of their favorite driving roads? I am new to Calgary.

I believe so, it's a long road with two huge hills then a large turn by a gravel pit.
