Hey everyone, I've met a few of you before but i would like to formally introduce my self. My name is Martin Ferrario, 20 and currently doing the Automotive Service Technician (AST) at SAIT. I bought my GTI about 2 years ago for the first year i didn't do anything but this recent year I decided to change it up. So here's what I've done
First week i bought the car. The car is from Gatineau, QC
Got her shipped down in an encolsed truck
Lowered it on FK streetlines. Cranked them all the way down
Started on cleaning up the bay a little. Thought it was too much red but I was too lazy to change it to black
Picked up some Work Eurolines DH 18x10 et35 all around
Stretched 215/35r18 front and 215/45/r18 rear so i wouldn't get excessive rubbing
Sticker bombed the under hood. What do you think? Ended up removing it cause i wasnt quite hooked on the look
Couple shots from the first show i went to (Dasvolks) Won best in class
Then one day im stopped at a red light and the car in front of me decides to reverse for no reason and once it make contact with my car it kept reversing.... (Luckily her insurance covered it all) New bumper, headlights, grille, and hood
Then the winter project began!
Turbo installed and bay tucked time to piece everything back together
First fire up was a success other than forgetting to hooke up the turbo oil return line. The oil leak was the length of the car
Bay all primed ready for paint
Just when i thought i was done, i decided to pick myself up a set of these
Got my wheels refinished No more red (Shi**y pic)
And now she is all ready for this season. Other than a couple things here and there
