Newer zetec engine replacing the old pinto. So a guaranteed 150hp for pretty much its life times no rebuilds every season. Old pinto probably only made 140hp.
Wider track so high speed handling shall improve. Along with that its a push rod car not rocker arm.
Front wheel line moved ahead of my feet so I won't lose them in a crash along with built in crash structures front and side.
Improved aero package.
And its a good 20 years younger than my last car.
The thing I lose is my excuse for not running up front. Its now all on me for being slow.

Well after our weekend trip down to Spokane car is back home in the garage.
If anyone wants to come help take apart 12 Jongbloeds to be re-sized that would be great. Only 18bolts each!
Tonight's plan is to assemble one of the front wings so i can take all the pics for my US EPA exemption. Then take off/apart the front wing, rear wing, side pods, air intake so i can send them off for paint.
Then tomorrow start on at least one set of the wheels (Hopefully new inner barrels arrive soon)

If I had something like that sitting in my garage the temptation to street drive it would be so strong. Looks amazing
There are some key issues that stop that very quickly.
1. The slight decline from garage to driveway the car high centers
2. The curb from driveway to street smashes the nose of the car into the ground jamming the car in place.
3. Any bump or pothole the car bottoms out.
4. Raised manhole cover you die or at best rip the bottom of the car off and probably loose all your teeth unless you where wearing a mouth guard.
1" ground clearance is a *****.
