Havent done much to the GTI recently still waiting on my truck to sell so i can hopefully buy Kujis wheels, me and Evan cleaned up the intake up a bit with some paint new rings and what not. Had to replace another door handle aswell and a big thanks to Natty for being cooperative with that.

So ive run into a few small problems over the last few weeks with the GTI, with idleing stalling out and such. These problems have been fixed with small tweaks and installing a new distributor cap made that idle solid again. So i ordered a few small things from ECStuning.com Valve cover gasket, distributor cap and bonnet struts. Got the struts and cap in and gonna do the gasket this week or weekend. Today me and Evan (hooddub) decided to get a rid of my canadian tire special muffler and work our magic to create a custom pipe with the resources and material we could get our hands on. So started off underneath grinding that muffler off


And this is whats gonna be making this puppy purr.


So we got the crappy tire muffler off and the new pipe equipped with some greasy installation the new exhaust is complete. Unfortunately as we finished this storm were experiencing right now started to pour down so i couldnt take a picture of the finished product but im sure you can imagine what it will look like. Will get pictures tomorrow

Nah. I'm probably younger than you. But yes as others have stated, they are personal preference I suppose.
