Nicely said GINCH. For a daily I wouldn't mind a MK4 but not for customizing. Still haven't owned a MK1 but I love old vw's. Thank you guys for the nice replies...really appreciate it
Aww c'mmon...mk3's need some loving too Thx man, really appreciate it. My Golf is a 1.8 GT with 90hp. I'm really satisfied with this engine, even though it's not a speed monter it's very reliable and runs perfectly. I tested the top speed on the autobahn and it maxed out at 200kmh so I can't complain

Nope...turbo's aren't my thing. I'd rather have a compressor and then on a 2.9 vr6. When my car looks the way I want it to inside and out I'm gonna do a vr swap
Due to rust issues underneath the car there's a change of plans. This year I'm still gonna drive it but next year it's gonna be restored. A friend of mine has offered a small warehouse where I can do all the work needed on the car. All rust in and around the car is gonna be removed as well as any scratches or dents I find along the way. All panels and parts will be replaced, fixed or refurbished and the whole car will be as new. I'm still not sure if I want to respray it or go for the matte green look I wanted so badly but I have the time to let it sink in and figure out what I want to do. For now I'm very happy that I don't have to get rid of it and that its gonna be brought back to its former glory
