Well I figure it's a car and not a boring Fabrige Egg. I hope to keep the car for a long long time as well. The actual truth though is that I'm almost totally incapable of waiting for stuff so to have a car that I love and enjoy driving sit for a long period would be nearly impossible for me.

Well after having some time to knock arround with the 911 in the snow all I can say is it's easily the best winter fun I've ever had with a car. A big part goes to the Hakkas which, though are very meh in the dry, are laughably good in the snow and ice. But the 911 itself is perfect in the snow; the ballance, the fact it's not over powered, the great steering and its light weight mean I can start and stop slides basically at will. It's a f'n blast and very very confident. The Hakkas mean the snowy grip is WAY better than the S4 with blizzaks ever had (I know, not a fair fight...).

Edit, believe it or not the last time I had this much fun in a car in the winter was with my girlfriend's beat-assed Chevette in university. That thing was awesome; slow as f@ck, rearwheel drive, manual and basically disposable. If anyone wants a cheap fun winter beater, get a Chevette (if you can still find one).
