Hello Everyone,
Joined up a while ago, but a few months ago, I moved from my Subaru to a 2010 Audi S4. Figured I might as well start a thread.
My Subaru was fairly modified. Started as a 2002 Impreza 2.5RS and after 6 years of owning it, had a complete 2001 JDM STI Swap (engine, transmission, brembos, etc) along with a custom fiberglass trunk, bigger turbo (Dom 1.5XTR), exhaust, injectors, ST coilovers, wide-ish rims and low-ish. Here's a couple pics:
The thing is, I got tired of a modified car. I got tired of it only half-working, of scraping in and out of my garage and the general attention it got. I've gotten older and was craving the comforts of a modern OEM car. After test-driving several vehicles (BMW's, MB's, etc), I settled on what I had known from the beginning: A 2010 Audi S4.
From the day I picked it up:
It came with the following:
- Meteor Grey Pearl
- 6-speed manual
- 73,000km
- CPO until 160,000k/mid-2016.
- Black Leather Interior
- Nav w/ Backup Camera and sensor
- Adaptive Headlights
- Bang and Olufsen Sound
- Active Sport Differential (must have!)
- Advanced Key / Push Button Start
Not long after I picked it up in March, I ordered a set of 19x9.5 +45 VMR V721's wrapped in 265/35 Michelin PSS.
So far, it's stayed relatively stock. I've swapped out the interior lights for LED's and that's about it. I am really trying hard not to modify this car as its a long and slippery slope. There's not as much aftermarket support for the Audi as there is for a Subaru. Generally all that's done is an exhaust/intake/tune and sways/endlinks. Can do springs/struts, coilovers, or... if I was going to actually modify it, I'd go with air.
That's it for now. I'm planning on going for an actual shoot soon so hopefully will have better pictures up in a bit.
Thanks for reading!
