Ya I agree. There's alot of little things that came in the MK4 R's that they completly skipped or cheaped out on in the MK5.
Nothing major but slowly the little touches will be added to make it more me. I really like it so far.

the lack of a real transmission is what i hate. personally its mk4>mk5 for powertrain/options, mk5>mk4 for looks. must be nice to be out of the 2.0.

Well.. a little update so far, front bumper is in for re-painting (thanks Colin!) and the new chrome grill should be here any day.

So its been about 2 weeks now and I finally got everything back together.

Stampede Collision did a great job with the bumper.
Got the side markers color matched. Ordered the new chrome hole less grill which has been wrapped thanks to Jeff (boostedmk4) and bumper fully 3m. Couldnt be happier with the end result!





I was also able to reuse most of the Jcaps which I originally purchased for Patryk



So far this car is awesome and Im loving every moment of it.

Thanks to everyone who helped out getting it here this fast and a huge thanks to Patryk for buying me even more goodies that will be here later this week.

Unfortunately the only engine bits to toss into an R32 usually cost a few thousand dollars, though they do add a few hundred HP lol. Intake will come eventually, however it will be an EVOMS short ram.

Well, Its been a while since I've updated this and have done a few things since.

Purchased a Borla Cat back exhaust and an EVoms intake back in the begining of Sept. Love the exhaust and intake so far. It's given it that sound it was missing stock. (sorry for the crappy cell pictures. Ill try and get better ones soon)





Sounds awesome in city and no real drown on the highway. Ill try and get some pictures up this weekend. The tips sit a little sideways so still got to try and get it more level. Like one is tucked in more then the other. Going to be getting new tips anyways as I'm not a huge fan of the rolled edge.

Got around to fully protecting the front end of the car, pillars, mirrors and roof with Xpel by Jeff (boosted mk4). I also purchased the mk6 trunk storage tray. Fits perfect and holds my car cleaning products or anything else clean and hidden away.

Also recently got some .:R32 seat insets , red cherry hazard switch , paddle shift extensions and a .:R ignition key ring.



A few more things I have left planned to buy. Hopefully this will be a winter purchase and spring install.

Loving every moment of this car though!

Well it seems like forever since I've updated my own thread and I have done a few things since my last post so I thought Id post a bit of an update. I really got to keep up with this better! lol

Got the red cherry hazard switch and full chrome interior switches finally installed this weekend.




Also got my spare button stickers on


Installed my Helix dark cherry tail lights back at Christmas


Next was suspension. Purchased a sweet deal from HPA for KW V2 Coilovers. Love the ride so far. think we got it dialed in just right now.



Finally got my dream wheels. Grabbed these off kijiji and got some curb rashed fixed and painted in a 3 stage paint in Cool Teal. Huge thanks to Joe at Kwicksilver Wheel Repair for his amazing work on these. Matched front and rear badge emblems in same Cool Teal color.


Last but not least we installed a little lip to the front. Same might know this as the "home Depot Lip" lol. Super cheap but I love how it looks.

Also got around to a full detail of the car. Clay bar, polish and EXO is now done and she is almost ready to roll!!

Forge makes a great intake and modshack as well (plus the paint it whatever color you want). The modshack has much more audible gains along with the improved flow, the forge is quieter but its a closed system so less heat issues as well.

*Edit didn't notice you already had an intake... lol
