looks like the tubular subframe is a no go for me, I asked on the VW Racer's group and one member said the alignment was thrown way off by the idf tubular frame, and his car was about my height so I wouldn't be able to run it, I guess thats a good news for me cuz I would be able to save some money, I'm just gonna wait for a good deal on a brand new subframe, and I'll be installing some solid subframe bushings and steering rack mount at the same time.

I'm interested but when are you bring the car over? And how long will you be staying? Right now my car is sleeping in Calgary and I was planning to go get it after gcvw in late August, but it could change if I get to take shoots with a Ferrari haha!

I am looking into getting some EBC redstuff brake pads, does anyone have experience with them? In terms of dust, performance, and noise? I had a good experience with hawk hps in my old jetta's stock brakes but they are squealing annoyingly in my wilwoods randomly all the time, they were installed properly, lubed and proper wilwood antisqueal shims. When i had stock wilwood bp10 pads they didn't squeal, I'm also looking into wilwood polymatrix q and yellowstuff pads if anyone has input about them. I do track my car once a year or so and autocross it whenever i can.

Do not send paypal money as a "gift" no matter what they say. If anything goes south, youll never get your money back if you do it that way.

Got a question for boosted R32 guys, can the stock manifold take 10psi of boost from an 850cfm supercharger? Also do you guys run any extra engine cooling systems?

this kit I bought doesn't include the liquid cooled alloy intake manifold not tune from hpa, I don't want one either since it's a lot of mass on the top of the car and deletes the variable intake thing, I'll run air to air intercooler to take care of the cooling. But can the stock manifold hold 10psi of boost from a vortech v9h supercharger? Most of the boosted vr6 I see here have some sort of aftermarket manifold, but in Europe I see a lot of people running superchargers and turbos on stock plastic manifolds. Do any of r32/24v guys here run similar boost with stock manifolds?

Got my hands on a nearly complete 20000mile HPA typhoon iXH preproduction kit, excluding ecu and manifold, I don't need them at all anyways so this kit is pretty perfect for me. Didn't really need it at all but the price was too good to pass.
This kit includes a HPA exclusive Vortech V9 H trim preproduction supercharger, featuring oversized inlet compared to the v9f and v9g vortech sells, 850cfm and gonna run at 10psi. With all the current setup plus supercharger, I think 420HP and 320lbft should not be difficult. Everything looks and feels solid, gonna take the kit to HPA to see if it needs anything in september.
Also found a great restaurant.





I'm planning to run a custom water to air intercooler rated for at least 500hp, either custom HPA or UM tune, and some gold.
