Re: Cptnslw
You might want a slightly higher offset than that, but that *should* be ok. That will be a pretty aggressive fitment though... Odds are that you'll poke. My OEM wheels are 17x7.5 ET51 and my summers are 19x8.5 ET44. My summers sit almost perfectly flush with my fenders. If you can get a mid to high 40s offset then that would probably be best.
Scroll through this thread and you'll probably be able to figure out what offset will be best, as well as tires size to avoid rubbing when you lower the car
Edit: Actually, it looks like you should be fairly flush with that setup. You'll definitely want stretched tires when you go lower though. Probably a 215/40R18 if you're static, maybe a 205 if you decide to do bags.Last edited by CGY_GTI; 03-06-2013, 12:11 PM.Scott

Here's what ET41 looks like. Not bad:

I'll def change the tires when I go lower though.
You should be good with that setup. I'd definitely recommend that you roll your fenders when you go lower, thoughScott

Re: Cptnslw
BAH. Deal fell apart.
Anyone know where I can buy OEM Audi/VW rims other than the dealership?
