Re: Whipping my mama volvo...ugh VW

Alright, so I got my TIP installed the other day and wasn't going to say anything since I was not impressed with its performance....Might have worked better if I had remembered to plug BOTH hoses into the DV. Now with that out of the way...all I can say is WOW. Pulls nice for sure, sounds good and helps breathe better. Definitely a recommended mod, butt dyno felt a difference. Next on the list will either be; new trunk, exhaust or wheels.

For those of you that do not know where this thread title is from:

Not much of an update, but I ordered my downpipe last night. Hopefully it will be here before the install party next weekend.

And not really car related, but my dad and I (mostly my dad, I suck at wood work and stuff like that) built these shelves today to store our tires/wheels and mostly car parts.
Now I also have more room to work on the car, so that's also a plus.

All lonely when I had to leave her on the side of a road and walk to school:

        Plowing snow:

And for those of you that didn't know, I installed my DP, if anyone has a rear o2 sensor they'd like to give me or sell to me for cheap let me know:

What is wrong with the O2 sensor that you have on your stock downpipe??

None of us could get it out of the stock DP... It pretty much welded itself in there haha

I'm guessing your front tires had no grip this morning?

Yeah we torched it and used all of the above and it just wouldn't move.

And yeah my "performance" summers didn't get me much more then two blocks. I went to b*tch about them not having my tire fixed since they hadnt called, but when I showed up it was done. So now I'm all good

Convince my parents to get that 337?
I just need a decent 1.8T for a decent price.

Well for those of you that I'm not friends with on Facebook; I picked these up today

Also seem to have the downpipe sorted out, did the front brakes for the hell of it and changed the rear pads to ceramics as well.

[QUOTE=BolideVW;267885]Yep these were the silverlines, didn't manage to get a new insert for them, but the one is still good and the other still had decent resistance in both directions so I figured what the heck. They ride way better then my concept1 (Solo-werks s1) coils even on full firm. And yep the rears took me roughly 45 mins the first time.

I told you they werent blown !! they rode awesome when they were in my car other than being seized

Yeah the one side in the front is blown. But it's all good, I can live with it for now.

In other news I got a 4-motion valence and painted it to match. This will be my winter setup and I will run the GLI valence in winter. Also installed a boost gauge (thanks tirerub)

Also received my stud conversion today.

                              Haven't updated in a while.

Did the sai delete and all the others. Still need to do the Pcv and catch can though. Also tucked my injector wires under the manifold.

                              (Don't mind all the blood)
Also got an exhaust roughly a month ago.

Here's the real news: so I decided I wanted to lower my car a little today. Unfortunately when I got to the rear then rings were seized. So I took them off to soak in some stuff for a while. So I'm only running the springs no perches or anything in the rear, while the car was stupid low I figured I would test fit the rotiforms.

Also forgot to mention I installed a new south performance boost gauge as well.

You should come get those shifter bushings while you're doing all this work.
