Anyways, to lighten the mood here a little bit. I used to own a yellow lotus. Unfortunately it had some mechanical issues and wouldn't run so i had to scrap it.

wow. now i don't know who Sean is but it seems some of this "haters gonna hate" hate is directed at me. and since i hate having to explain the reasons why i like to post what i feel like posting, it seems that the other haters might need an expanation.

not once did i say anything negative about any ones car. i didn't even say that this thread was a stupid idea. quite the contrary, if you re-read my posts, you'll find that i commended it and gave it some constructive criticism. then the OP and his girl got all mad, jelly, butt hurt or whatever about it. you dismissed a reasonable idea, which had some backing, with a couple quick "it's my thread, my rules" ego BS. great. you know me. of course you were gonna get an answer like i gave. 100 pictures of my ride. after all, you made the rules. i thought it was funny. shame it was edited. i felt it really proved the point that a "whore your car" thread should be just that. not a "how am i progressing with picture taking" thread. i click here to see cars, not practice.

i like to call you guys "club s4" or "club r32". i like a lot of cars on this forum. even ones in this thread. but i'll be sure to keep those good, and bad, opinions to myself.

and to keep up with the rules, here is my current ride. it gets even better economy than my velosolex's. sorry it's not euro though.

I should say some specs, its a Moots 29er single speed rigid. Crazy fast and will make you suffer on any extended climbs!

Looks so good Scott. I would however recommend you buy some spacers to get the wheels a little more flush with the fenders. Other than that, love your car man! So clean and simple. Just the way I like it!!!! Wel done!

Thanks Derek! I was thinking about maybe getting some spacers in the spring. I think the angle of the pictures and the stretch on the tires make the wheels look like they're under the fenders, but they're almost perfectly flush in person. If I get spacers, they'll be 3 or 4mm max.

Oh, and my stuff from Tunerworks should be coming in this week or early next week. Who wants to come help when it gets here? I'm thinking the weekend of the 13th/14th

I might add just a 5mm spacer to the back, but it is not a necessity at this point as it looks fantastic the way it is right now. So glad you went with these wheels instead of the monoblocks! And when your stuff comes in i would be down for helping out if we had a get together
