I was out in Vernon over the last week and stumbled upon this 1990 BMW E30 325iX. I know its not rear wheel drive but Im excited to use the AWD in the snow. The car itself is quite solid, just needs a windshield to pass the OPI. Heres a photograph. I have some plans for it so I will update this as I go along. Yes I know it needs the lower lip, fog lamps and grill.

Re: The New Daily.
Thanks for the support guys, I need to ease into the BMW world slowly as I want to do it right and not do it twice. Im going to worry about making it super reliable for the winter and then worry about some odds and ends I would like to add.Eric

Re: The New Daily.
Probably the best way to ease in that's for sure. I went from an e30 325is to an e36 325 and hated the e36. Then I test drove an e46 m3 not long ago, truthfully didn't like it either, felt too large. Then last Thursday Todd took me for a rip in his 135. Granted I didn't get to drive but I got that small car with balls and fun factor feeling out of it that I havent had since the e30.

Re: The New Daily.
So I washed an waxed it up today because the roads are back to being dry (for the time being), so far I have done some little maintenance things such as a new windscreen, wiper relay, de-tint, oil change, air filter, fuel filter, and changing the "custom" valve cover breather that the previous owner fashioned up. Further more I cleaned the interior a little bit and slapped some new winter rubber on it. Here are some updated pictures from today.
Some of my future plans are new struts and springs, order some new interior bits, clean up engine bay, fix the small rust spots on the passenger side.
Generally looking to make this a super reliable winter car and maybe make it trackable for the summer.Last edited by Classic E; 11-06-2012, 07:35 PM.Eric
