Hey, my name is Jordan. I have lived in Calgary for about a year now. I moved here from Mississauga, ON. Right now I am driving my mom's 2004 Saturn vue but am in the process of fixing my 1988 honda civic hatch. Since moving here I sadly left my Golf in Ontario with my Dad. I was driving a 1977 Porsche 924 until it was in need of a clutch job so I had to let it go to a good home.

Well here are some pictures of my gti.

This car has seen it's fair share of road. We paid $300 for the car and $200 to get it towed to us because it hadn't run in awhile. Then it sat for 2 years until we had the room to fix it.

The clutch was done, the pressure plate was powderized (i wish i took pictures).

I did the brakes for my grade 12 auto shop final. Here are some pictures.

    Prep and Rear Removal

    Front Removal

    New Discs

    Finished

The brake job cost me $80 for all 4 wheels, until we went to bleed them and the master cylinder was dead.

As of right now the car is finally safetied and driving, it just hasn't passed ontario's emissions testing.

Oh I also did my intake and valve cover.

They sent the wrong fuel lines, anyone want these ones?

I have resently caught the vee-dub bug when my friend took me to Driven, I'm looking at finding myself a mk1 or mk2 rabbit, preferably GTI to zip around in.

Great work man! Your MK2 is exactly the same as the one I'd like to get some day!

Thanks, I really like the mk2. I have been considering driving it out here but I don't know if its worth it?

Are you not worried about cracking when you cross drilled your own rotors?
Looks like it is cleaning up nicely.

I tapered the holes and they have quite a bit of space between them. But if the start cracking I will just buy a new set of discs.
