        Re: Revwerks 996TT Project Car

Thanks! Got more work done today.

Sprayed some primer on the GLI and Porsche and finished the 3rd brake light delete.... Should look really aggressive with the wing.

If you have some custom stuff you want done or need something prepped for paint let me know!

Respect the build and the car but hate the techart rear spoiler! Please tell me there are attachments to the side of that thing?

:O!!! this is a dangerous thing to say… I've been wanting a couple bits on my car done for a while now. Just the prep or do would you do the paint too?

Your not the only one, I have a van that needs some touchups

I do agree that the full picture of that wing looks a lot better. I was wondering how that was all going to connect up but I didn't think there would be a whole other level on it.

Wow, looks like it will be awesome. Sanding down factory porsche paint and repainting by yourself in a dusty garage seems kinda crazy (and illegal) but to each their own.

I believe the dusty garage will be home to the prep work only, I am almost certain that it will be going to a legit shop for paint
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

It is not against the law to paint in your garage , and lots of show caliber hot rods have been painted in a garage. All you do is clean the garage space before you paint and spray the floor down with water out of a garden sprayer no dust issues.
Been driving VAG for longer then allot of the members have been alive

Ok, I said it's crazy, because, well it is. If you can create a paint booth in your garage that's better than the Porsche factory all power to you. I did NOT say it won't turn out great because it probably will!

I was pretty sure that there were issues painting (with solvent based paint) without a proper VRU as you are venting toxic chemicals in to your neighborhood. But I'm way too lazy to find it so I'll just say, you might be right.

Makes sense, I just thought with the other painting going on in there that perhaps he would do the whole thing.

Either way, pretty sweet project car.
