Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I will have this car running this summer, but if not, I will keep at it. I am extremely hopeful, as lately e have been making huge strides towards fabrication completion, once that is done, it really puts the project back in my hands.
The fueling system is in place, just need to make final connections to the rails, the fuel system is fully customized, Magnafuel pump is mounted in a nook under the car with an in tank check valve/pick-up, fuel lines are -10 supply -6 return. I need to rework my catch-can plan, also need to have a new PS hard line made, the engine bay needs painting, the car needs a respray and the engine bay needs to be heat protected.
To go with the go fast parts, I also installed, all new OEM lower CA's, Gruvenparts adjustable upper CA's, ST CO's, S6 rear lower CA's/trailing arms, Hotchkiss front and rear sways.
This week we hope to have all the intake/charge plumbing done, next week we will be left with structural strengthening and a couple of heat-shields
Update pics
Pics 1,2&3 Wastegates plumbed
Pic 4&5 Turbo final location and topside brace with male/female heims
Pics 6&7 Rad support in place, intercooler mocked up, intercooler is 4.5"wide, I will most likely devise a second bumper skin and bar to use when at the track or on the dyno, to allow maximum airflow
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you
Car is coming along great ryan!!! This thing has been in the works for years and gone through lots of different planning stages.... Cannot wait to see the finished product!!!!
Progress pics, the intercooler inlet is piped, the outlet is piped, just need to do some figuring to get the blow off valve, MAF and turn into the throttle body, all in the space of 14" and trying to avoid hood clearance issues.
intercooler mount brackets, straddling the bumper shock tubes
4" intercooler outlet, into Vanjen clamp, looks like we will need another 3.5" clamp, one on either side of the Pro-M MAF
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you
