So with being so low (static for all you haters), i've decided to take pre-cautionary measures and replaced my oilpan with a MK3 VR6 steel pan BEFORE I smashed/cracked my aluminum one. The old pan already had a few good scrapes on it so its probably good I made the swap. MK3 oilpan is about an inch more shallow than the MK4 pan and takes about 3/4 quart less oil.

Didnt really take any pics as I dont find it neccessary, but if anyone wants I can take some next time I raise the car up. We'll see if I encounter any problems with this swap. Hoping for the best!!!

Thanks again to Slhazy for all the help with swapping the pan out and making the flywheel cover for it!!!

haha thanks guys. I'm really loving the way the wheels turned out!!! Once people start posting more pics from the show, i'll try to update this thread with some of my faves. Thanks for posting those pics Sean, but I cant take credit for the entertainment......that was all Torreto!
