Lookin' good Patryk. Keep up the good work!

PS. The .:R mod bug has bitten me too. I think my total mod cost list for my old 20th was about $150 over 5 years. With the .:R... I'm already at about $4,000 in 2 years and counting.

              Re: The .:Ridiculous Journey

Holy oldschool bump batman. I thought I updated this thread a little more often, but I guess i'm just lazy. So here's a bit of an update...

2011: Started building a custom fiberglass sub box to fit in my spare wheel well. What a b!tch to do, but i'll explain all that in the build thread I do for that. For reference though, it looks something like this

Also shipped my ECU down to Colorado to Gabe at Bluewater Performance to get the UM Flash w/ Launch Control. Needless to say, its quite a bit of fun and the tune is VERY smooth. Also got an EVOMS V-Flow intake. The girlfriend was good to me and bought me a full set of polished J-Caps including the hard to find .:R branded strut caps. Unfortunately with the adjusters on the coilovers, i'm yet to find a way to properly mount the strut caps without losing them. Here's a pic of the engine bay.

With that being said, the next mod was Coilovers. Since Calgary was losing its track, I went for the "low and slow" rather than the performance aspect so I purchased Koni Adjustables. According to Jesse, these will save me 2lbs. It took me the rest of summer to really figure out exactly how I want my car to sit, so i'll skip these shots.

2012: Season pretty much just started, but already i'm loving the way my car looks. Got some dual walled Magnaflow 4" exhaust tips, some Helix OEM HID reps (retrofitted with dual ambers), suspension dialed in just right, and my stereo is finally installed. Pics of the trunk setup...

I have a few small touch ups to do with the trunk, however I’m happy that when its all completely finished, I will only have lost 4 inches of trunk space due to the raised flooring

And here’s some shots of how she sits today with the new headlights, the stance and the exhaust tips.

                      Re: The .:Ridiculous Journey

Not too sure about plans for now. I really want new wheels but still need to find some money for that. I need to perfect the trunk setup so that its done once and for all. I installed 2 hidden toggle switches that I want to hook up to something. One will be for the flapper mod, the other i'm not exactly sure yet. Probably NOS....I need NOS!

Finally i'm gonna shave down the adjusters on the coilovers so I can get those .:R caps on there. Possibly spray the engine covers in a nice glossy black to make the engine back stand out a bit more seeing as its basically bone stock.

                      P.S. I need NOS

Ben, you can get the exhaust tips from Natty54. I picked mine up from Mopac because I needed them welded on right away so that everything would be ready for Driven, but Natty was actually a few bucks cheaper (just would have taken about a week to wait for them to come in).

George, check out the funny's thread and you'll know why I need NOS.

Derek, thanks! Knowing the quality of your cars, it always feels good gettin compliments from you! You know you're always free to take a rip in the .:R for old times sake!
