mdmvr6: Wouldn't be me. Car is currently in Saskatoon, still in winter mode. Way too much gravel on the roads to be in summer mode right now anyways.
LOL. No idea how the LE started. I think someone over-used it in a post on some forum back in the day and I just picked it up. I like to use the word when my mind is blank. Sometimes you just get le bored and need to put in some random words.
From your username I assume you are desi? If I got a custom plate you can bet it would be a typical f0b plate......something like DESIDUB, 5ABIDUB, or best...2SIKHVW hahaha. But those are typical and boring.....so maybe I'll do LEJATVW to spice it up.
Morespeed: Car is dropped on a FK 35/40 kit. A bunch of us bought either the 35/40 or 55/40 kits way back in the day and out of all of them I think mine was the only one to go this low. Part numbers were right and everything so I know I didn't get the wrong kit. Not complaining about it at all, very happy with the height. If you want the same ride height I have I would just order the 55/40 kit. Ppl with the 35/40 kits (and some with 55/40) all had wheel gap in the front so probably best to just order the lower kit. Would also recommend a skid plate. Even with the most careful driving there are chunks of ice in wintertime which just cannot be avoided (ie: huge chunks flying off a truck on Deerfoot). My skidplate has saved the pan a bunch of times.
Thx for all the great comments guys, car could definetely use a couple minor things to finish it off but I'm not sure I'm going to bother. Maybe later down the road, but life is just too hectic right now. It's hard enough as it is to find time to do the winter-> summer switch only to have to remove the parts 4 mths later for winter. Basically planning on keepin it clean, keeping up with regular maintainence and just enjoying it.
