  • THE BMW BEAST (580hp)

Hello boys and girls, I have been crazy busy with some crazy BMW turbos and supercharger projects. Here is one of them almost complete, this kit is a VF stage2. this kit produces 580hp on 91 fuel but with race fuel it will produce 600hp and 400lbs of torque. I didn't post all the steps because there is way too many, i posted only the major ones THE BMW BEAST is not complete yet, there are some more goodies coming, clutch, exausth, coiloves, big brakes. I am waiting to get the DME back from VF so i can do the final details. enjoy.

It would be interesting to see this go against Rage2's (Beyond) HPF M3!

Rage2 would win. Hpf cars makes more boost and power, plus turbocharging is more suited for Alberta's climate and elevation.
I'm just trying to keep up with the guys I roll with (Murcis, Gallardos, GTR, Ford GT's, 996/997 Turbos, etc) in the summer. I'll post pics and dynos once I get the car detailed, it's still sitting on winters and awaiting install for other parts.

Big ups to Alex at Velocity though, I'm very impressed with his work so far.

hmm Im pretty sure there is a guy with the black turbo'd e30 that is sick fast. I think his name is dan P? idk it was awhile ago. Im not even sure if he still has the car anymore.

Cant wait too the it all done..keep us posted!

Woow that is not very nice to say. If i were to say at you, is too bad you did not get an m3 like the other guys in Calgary, would you have like that comment. As for the HPF kit it is very impressive stuff that they make, but lets really compare.
                        HPF stg2 = 518hp w/91oct
                        HPF stg2 = 670hp w/91oct+alc
                        HPF stg2 = 731hpw/110 gas
                        cost $18,990.00 US + install

                        VF stg2 =570hp to 580hp w/91oct
                        VF stg2 =600hp w/ 100oct
                        cost $12,000.00 US + install
                        VF produces 52hp to 60hp more w/ 91 oct
VF is also down 131hp w/ race fuel
so is 131hp w/ race fuel worth an extra $6,999.00 US?
What about the availability of race fuel?
The VF costumer can buy a different gear diff and can have faster accerelation numbers than HPF kit and still have save $.
It all comes down to personal preference. my 2 cents.

                          Haha Yup, too bad.

Hpf kits are awesome, they were one of the options I was considering. There are pros and cons to both kits. I like the power curve, tuning, and support that VF and Velocity offer. Money wise, I've already spent the price difference between the 2 kits in supporting mods alone. Hell, a full respectable exhaust system costs over $12k.

Oh no hahah "OMG" meaning THAT IS HELLA SICK AS HELL LOL! i was like flaming you or anything I said "to bad" meaning then you can be anothe HPF m3 in alberta!!! hahah.

True say on the cost of the turbo, i would go supercharger too since I love no lag and have the low end torque!

                            Can't wait to see it!!!

                              I can't even comprehend a $12,000 exhaust.
