  • Some longweek fun....gettawagon?

Well after about a month of thinking about it and getting time to do it, I got myself a getta. Only took about 4 hours(taking our time) Finnal product turned out wicked. i must say looks good. Thanks to Dave for driving all the way from edmonton to banff to do the swap(Not to sure of his user name on here). I didnt take many pictures. but oh well.

    Enjoy

And yes the front have to get some wax on it, lol

Do some wiring so that the Low beams stay on with the high beams the way they do on the Golf. Essential for the highway.

now i am not a huge fan of this swap execpt it opens up the options for the golf front ends ( i feel there are more desirable bumpers for the golf than jetta ) so i hope you take advantage of that and your car will be the bomb .
        good job

Ya, this is true and one of the reasons in doing this swap. Also, now i have lots of options for headlights also. Not too sure what im going to go for right now. But next in line is doing a 01-02 rear bumper converion and air ride over winter...i hope

                  thanks for comments guys.

Not gonna lie, I don't care for the swap. I think the dude who scored your Jetta front end got the better deal. Im not saying you can't make it look hot, im just saying I prefer the Jetta front end rather than the Golf front end. Just my opinion though.

As for the other guy, its not easy to pull off a JTI conversion.....especially when his car is relatively stock looking.

Ya, jetta front end on a wagon is a north american thing. this is how they some in europe...and seeing my car was built there..might as well do it justice..gotta paint my euro hatch now.

                        thanks for a comments guys.

                              all you need IMO now

                              shave the trunk logo off
                              R32 front end
OEM R32 side skirts (if they fit the wagon??) if not OEM ones for the wagon i'm sure they have some
OEM HIDs or those Helix OEM HID replica lights mise as well buy the replicas lol

                              or if you want agro
do like an RS4 look up front! but i don't really dig that reiger RS4 bumper fitment.. didn't fit that great on marks sisters car but on puneets it fit good?? must be the shop? i dunno
