08 GTI lowered

I had the GTI lowered and put on a set of summer tires.

H&R Supersport Springs 1.9" F/R drop
Koni Yellow Shocks/Struts

Great ride! Just a bit harder than stock.

I didn't wash the car yet and these pics suck but here is before and after.

looks much nicer with the drop, glad you like the Konis been happy with mine. Just need some bigger brake discs to fill that wheel out now

VW should have made it that way from the factory. Still lots of ground clearance without the 4x4 appearance.

Thanks guys,

I picked up the springs and shocks/struts at Speedtech for $800 all in. I looked online and it actually was more expensive with shipping/duty.

After a few days of driving on these it almost doesn't even feel like the car is lowered. Ride quality is that good. I drove a few people in it over the weekend and they all say they thought the ride would be much worse by just looking at the drop.
