    2008 Audi R8

    Well my Dad took delivery of his new car yesterday so I thought I would share a few quick pics. The car is Ibis White with silver side blades, with black interior and is an R Tronic. It is truly an amazing car so fast, handles amazing and is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive, I love it and my Dad is pretty happy with it too!

      jeebs blair will you ever get to bring that out to a meet? i doubt you dad wants you to be joyriding people around tho..

      i love the white/silver combo looks amazing

      oh i noticed it has the tumors too

              r-tronic or s-tronic? s-tronic=dsg, what is r-tronic? tip?

                R-Tronic is like Lambo E-gear, it is a manual but with no clutch pedal so when changing gears you get the best change by easing off the throttle a bit, it is not nearly as smooth as DSG, but you need to get the feel for it.

                      I don't think Audi/VWs DSG system handles this level of power yet, I believe it is very close to the Lambo e-gear system. It is quite different and I would actually put it closer to my Smart's tranny then the DSG, even tells you to leave it in gear when you park it on a slope.

                        I saw that R8 cruising through Deerfoot Meadows on Thursday..... I was trying to keep up in my junky winter beater

                        Amazing car, and very nice color combo!
                        Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

                          There are 2 white R8s in town now, 1 silver and 3 blacks and thats all is far as I know.
