                      Dude,
we have the exact same car...it's funny, I just got Pizzy clear sidemarkers for my mine off ebay...how much were yours? I paid $30 after shipping costs...did you tint your windows? I'm getting mine done next week...35% smoked all-metal...What kind did you get (what percent, smoked, not smoked, all-metal, non-metal)? It looks like you only got the back ones done, is that true? Do you have any recent pics of your car? Also, are the lights a considerable difference? Thanks! Take care....twineusa

I got my Pizzies off of Bart (he's a member here and local) for $30. I've only got the rear windows tinted (I think it's 5% but not positive) because its illegal to have the front two tinted in Alberta. I am probably gonna go 50% on the fronts this summer though. The lights do improve the lighting on the road but as I said in your thread, they are white not blue. I gotta get white LEDs for the side markers because as they are now, the head lights are really white and it makes the standard incandescent side markers look extra yellowish.

                          Hey buddy,
I was looking at a drop like yours. like a sports kit about 2.0 to front and back and was wondering if thats safe... i have no kit, but plan to put 18's on some day. right now im ridding on stock 15's and rubber. can you or anyone else suggest what brand to go with if i want an even drop, (or what looks best) or if i'm gonna plow the ground should i stick with a pro kit with less drop? does anyone know how these feel different???
                          thanks a lot.

As you've seen, I've got the FK Highsport coilovers and I am completely happy with them. I find the ride to be just right.

If you don't plan on getting a kit, you should be ok with a pretty low drop. If you get a kit, something that drops down quite a bit like a Rieger, then your best bet would probably a higher suspension. Plowing in winter is inevitable. Taking driveways and speed bumps doing the slow angular attack has to be learned.

With that said, I haven't really scraped to badly in a while just cus I've learned how low my car is and where everything is sitting underneath. I actually do field work in this car. Going out to compressor stations and wells on dirt and gravel roads without too many problems.

IMO, 2 inches is a pretty good height to be able to look good stock or rock a kit also.
