So, talked to POINTTS this week and a Racing ticket is 6 demerits (!) and an automatic increase on your insurance. (d'oh!)

The guy at POINTTS said that he's going to try and get me a no demerits ticket, but more than likely he'll just be able to get it knocked down to speeding with 3 demerits.

Oh well, lesson learned.

Yeah that looks like a stunting ticket. I think it's 4 or 6 demerits can't remember now. Definatelly try and fight it.

I would say you should be able to plead to Speeding no problem.

I think it is only for Racing.

When he pulled me over he cited racing, speeding, reckless driving, and stunting. The ticket says racing and then section 115, and then a (2) and then a (c) so I first thought I had got a ticket for all 4!! I think that it's just for racing though.

All of that for taking the turn onto MacLeod too quickly and accelerating up a hill.

Does anyone know how many demerits that is? I'm going to talk to POINTTS on Monday.
