    where you have the odd tiny stone chip etc is there like a black wax stick or some liquid wax that you can use to cover over the white and make it black again before you start to polish and wax for proper?

    just something to hide the white spots really.

      Yes - there are a host of products that do just that. They look like little crayons that you rub over the spot to fill it in. Then you wipe away the excess before waxing.

      My girlfriend's dad did it on his Benz and it worked surprisingly well! Although when you look at it up close you can see where it has been filled in. (ie: it won't match the paint seamlessly).

          I just got my stuff from Parts Source, but you can get them at Canadian Tire, maybe even Walmart...
