No Ferrari...

So after a few months and numerous trips to ZR Auto i thought i had my father in-law convinced to dump his collection of Corvettes and get a Ferrari. He even agreed that "i can only drive one at a time" But he just bought a 2006 Z06 Vette to go with his 04 Convertable, 03 Z06, 93 convertable and 86 hardtop. Damn american cars! Don't get me wrong its a nice car but it's no Ferrari.

I saw an AMAZING 993 Turbo on the way to work today. Looked like a full interior retrim, mint exterior with brand new turbo porshe wheels (from a 996?). Silver. It made me almost drive into a pole trying to get a good view.

I suppose 'vettes are okay... if only because they haul @ss. I personally don't find them even slightly attractive, and if I won one I would sell it almost right away.

I saw that drive by my office yesterday. Stunning.

The 993 turbo's still command serious cash on the used market, it's nuts. In some instances you can get a 996 turbo for less. uh quite sure you dont need a dirt road to "spin it in circles".
plus the zo6 has pretty decent handeling for the american car it is...that said, ferrari all the way

Well, I think the idea is he was going to trade is other cars in too. So, 80,000 + 4 other vettes, probably very doable.

Gotta agree with you chris!! That 964 in on the ebay listing is by far the sexiest machine going!! One day I will own one!

i drove a brand new z06 when i worked at the auction, that thing got sideways like nothing
