Famed design house Zagato has just issued a sneak peak at its latest one-off, the Diatto Ottovu.
To be shown at the Geneva Motor Show on the centennial anniversary of the long-forgotten Diatto brand, the Ottovu is a specially-commissioned coupe funded by a pair of wealthy (and unnamed) collectors. Although complete specifications haven’t been divulged, it’s expected that the voluptuous two-door will rely on a Maserati V-8 for motion, and could also benefit from forced-induction.
Diatto first came on the scene in 1835 with patented wheel design, but didn’t come to market with a complete vehicle before 1905. According to Zagato, the marque “often crossed paths with Zagato in their close collaboration with Ettore Bugatti, the Maserati brothers and Tazio Nuvolari.”
