2.7T engine noise

Just wanted to ask the 2.7T guys if they have ever had any valve noise, well it sounds like valve noise over 2k and sort of goes away over 4kish. It has been going on for about a month now I think as I don't drive it and when I did drive I asked my wife how long it has been making noise for, I got a "what noise?"

The car has about 113k on it and feels ok to drive, power felt good and it did make 180k on the front straight this summer so im open to ideas.

turbo noise maybe? Thats about the right range to hear it?

nah turbos kick in so damn low on these cars you'd hear it before then

Ya, it shouldn't be the turbos...you'd be able to tell if it was them for sure. Is it a knocking sound or what?

Sort of like a tapping in the top end like it was low on oil or lifter kind of noise, the oil is up and I used Mobil 1 0w30 and 0x40 (long story)
