Newb Audi question

I'm looking quite closely at the Audi wagons and have a question for the experts. Is the All-Road based on the A4 or A6 platform, or something completely unique to the All-Road? Does the rear cargo area differ greatly between the different models mentioned? I was poking around on the Audi website but couldn't find the answer to the second question.

Yes it is an A6 Avant with a few special items. My step-mom has had one for 4 years if you have more questions, her favorite feature, the heated steering wheel

Nope, not yet she is approaching 80,000kms I think and no issues, got a new exhaust last week but that was the result of being rear-ended.

I like the air ride adjustable suspension, the only reason I'd be looking at the All-road vs an A4 or A6. The 2.7 turbo is tempting as well, but they stopped making these bad boys in '05 to make room for their new SUV I think. Leaning towards the A4 still...

There should be a new generation All-road coming out based on the new A6, but the price will probably be pretty high, although my Step-moms was around 72,000 in 2002.

if you can just buy a used a6 wagon even.. those are pimptastic
