I had similar issue, and the concensus was that it goes away on its own - there's no reset button. What was the last thing you did? Because I swore the same thing, but it still ended up being a vac hose that was broken.

      Re: Anyone have Vag-COM?

the last thing i did before the problem showed up was take the turbo inlet hose off, take the PCV valve out (plugged the hole) and pressured up the system to about 15 psi to test for leaks.

i couldn't hear any leaks, so i put everything back together and went for a drive.

as i was driving everything felt normal.....boosting to about 18psi where is should be. i came to a 4-way stop and decided to floor it and see if everything was fine. first gear was fine....spiked to 18 and slowly came down to 16....15.......14.....13.....12 (stock K03). 2nd gear same thing. 3rd gear.....spiked to 21 psi then down to 18.....16......15.....14.....etc. came to a 3-way stop and turned right, went around the corner and "tried" to accelerate quickly it ramped up to 5 psi and held there throughout the entire RPM range. same thing in every gear.

now i'm up to 6psi all the time i think it's because it was pretty chilly the other night causing the 1psi difference.

        Re: Anyone have Vag-COM?

Check them all again. Something has popped off or broken. For me it was the little hose that goes from the TB to the n249 T joint, but yours could be anything. As soon as I replaced my broken T, the boost was normal on the next restart. No clearing of codes or any vag was required. Course, getting a scan might show some soft codes that would be a clue where your problem is...

I'm pretty sure Richard has one at his shop here in Edmonton.

          Drop him a line.

            Re: Anyone have Vag-COM?

first off........thanks Rich for the help, i appreciate it!

i drove over to Darsh on my lunch break today to see if we could run a diagnostic and solve the problem. No codes present.

......well on the way back to work i was kinda beating on the car a bit......and boost slowly started to spike higher and higher. it went from 6psi.....to 7 the next time. stayed at 7 for a while then spiked at 8 the next shift. and so on until i hit 10psi by the time i got back to work.

on the drive home, same deal, started off at about 8psi and by the time i got home i was spiking at 15psi.

so rich and i figured it might be my forge 007 that was possibly sticking or not sealing correctly, so i took it out of the car once i got home and cleaned everything up. the pistons seemed to be moving freely and everything so i just took it apart, re-greased it and stuck it back in.

so anyways i go and take the car out on a fairly empty old highway by my place and proceed to try and get the car to spike higher and higher.

......long story short.....i can get boost to spike at around 16-17 psi in 1st and 2nd, about 17 in 3rd, and i can get boost to hold at around 20 psi in 4th and 5th when i shift around 2750rpm.

so i don't know what i did to fix things, but this is definetely weird. i'm just glad things are almost back to normal. the only thing i can think of was that something was clogging a vacuum line or something and had to work it's way loose................i'm stumped. but i'm just glad to have my boost back.

            mmmmmmm........boost

                me too

i was expecting it to be atleast one of a couple of valves. the cheapest of them being $74 at the stealership

....i was kinda hoping it was the turbo though. it would have given me an excuse to throw a big turbo kit in there. haha
