Re: S4
It all depends on the mileage.....but between 24 and 28 depending on shape, options, etc. is about average....you don't want to know what I paid for mine. Definately try and get an 01 or 01.5, but they will be more money. If you settle on a 2000, just make sure all the usual repairs have been done (t-belt, f-hose if it's a 6-speed, tbb, dv's, water pumps, o2's, etc.) and you should be good to goLast edited by Smarty39; 09-21-2006, 03:35 PM.Kyle

Re: S4
The reason why S4's have become more affordable is that owners are becoming aware that replacing the turbos cost around 6 grand.. and you are generally starting to push your luck with over 120k.... If I could afford the maintenance I would have bought a friends balck one.. but my A4 is more then I can handle in the meantime. But that being said.. I am just waiting or a friend to grow sick of his Stage 3 S4 and grab that!

Re: S4
I might add....6 grand is for stock parts.. if you want the full K04 kit, you are looking at around $15kusd!! (It adds up when done properly.. clutch, engine mounts, DTS, DP, IC's, Brakes, hoses, install etc etc)
THEN you get the 450hp. You gotta pay to play I suppose.
