I have a 98 A4 2.8l Quattro, it has the sport package, and dunlop sport 5000 tires. I seem to be able to slide/drift around corners very easily. Does anybody else notice that, or are they bad tires?

I'm running dunlop fm901s, and no I tend to grip pretty well. -

ummm, I have only driven FWD cars before maybe I jst need to get used to the AWD. Its not to scary when it does come loose, just a soft slide to the out side.Comment

Lot of things effect grip.. but yeah those tires are not the best in terms of stick. I guess you really should be happy you have a car that you can slide which suggests you arent just understeering but maybe more of a neutral limit.Comment
