Is this for real? I thought (recalling back to a turbo machinery course in University) that the real purpose of a turbo is to convert the gas as it is "still expanding" into compressive work on the intake gas (and less important was the velocity of the gas). I would think that placing the turbo so far back that the gas has already expanded quite a bit to a point that it isn't working as optimally as it could.
