Oh yeah, sure... at least to the U.S.A.... for... let's say around $55,000 USD. Converting that to Canadian and considering the costs to import it to Canada (cause I can't see it coming here) would likely take it to around $70,000. (gulp)

Personally... I'd rather buy a used '07 RS4.

dude have you looked at a new a3 lately?? 63k on the dealer floor for a nicer GTI.. i don't think so!!! thats freaking nuts man! i think it was a 3.2 fullllly loaded but still..

and yea a b7 rs4 is good stuff but there is something that appeals to me about boost machines

My eyes may not be that good, but i'm pretty sure that blue "test mule" on the track is an S3, NOT an RS3. I'm pretty sure the badge on the front of it says S4 too. Plus, I would think the RS3 would have wide fenders and dual exhaust.

The fact that it is a test mule means it is not production and they often try to trick the automotive press into what it actually is hence miss badging, parts etc. The S3 is already available so it is not really something that needs testing at this point in time as well.

Ahh fair enough. I was kinda wondering why they would show pictures of just a regular S3 on the track when they are already out.

This would be an great car indeed, so glad Audi is getting back to their roots with the 5 cyl turbo. The one disappointing thing I read elsewhere is talk about them turning the power down on this motor so as not to directly compete with the TT-RS which makes no sense to me as you would think they would attract a different crowd anyways imo, hopefully this is just speculation and we get both of these fine rides over here.

I dont get how they will invest money in rebadging a dodge mini van and sell 5000 units in the first and only year , but wont bring a super high profit car like the rs3 and r20 here sell 500 of each at massive margins to give some company image
