  • The Rendezvous

This is a 1976 film short by Claude Lelouch, c'etait un rendez-vous (he was arrested after the first time the film was shown. He was denied a permit to film but he did it anyway.)

Ferrari 275 GTB is Claude’s own car.

While the driver’s identity has never been confirmed, rumor has it that the driver is Rene Arnoux, an ex-Formula One driver for Renault.

Others think that it was Jean Pierre Beltoise, Jacques-Henri Laffite (Claude’s personal friend) or Jaques Bernard Ickx (who had extensive Ferrari experience with Brabham from prior F1 seasons.)

Make sure to watch the whole thing. It isn't too long.

Unreal. I would have pee'd my pants if I was in that car. (Probably 13 times).

Is this the one through Paris?? I guess I could just watch it....

Edit: yes, it is the video I was thinking.....I just don't think he's really going too fast, I mean that camera positioning is supposed to give the illusion of speed, but it truly doesn't if you look at the scenery around.....Not saying I could do better, but it sure could be faster...
