Yeah, I installed DivX 6 codecs, but now my Media Player just closes immediately instead of giving me wicked visualizations to that awesome engine sound.

Mine did that too, I uninstalled divx 6 since it seems to crash windows media player exactly as you describe. After I uninstalled it went back to the way it was before.

I installed ffdshow which is an open source equivalent and everything is back to normal. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow

It only plays what you have codecs for.

                      Re: MK5 r32 videos

I love it! The exhaust note sounds incredible! I am not a fan of the wheels, though, and the exhaust tips look a little small, but other than that, I'll take one in Black Magic Pearl.

However, I'm not sure that the Canadian market will see it :(

After reading on the Vortex that there is an R36 in the works (Jamie posted that it was definitely coming - but only stated it was for the U.S. market) I emailed VW to ask if it would be coming here.

This is the reply I got:

                      Dear Chris,

                      Thank you for your reply.

Currently, there are no plans to offer the R36 in the North American market.

Thank you again for stopping by our site.

So not sure if Jamie has his facts wrong, or if it's the people at VWoA. Only time will tell, I suppose.

                          Re: MK5 r32 videos

Looks pretty nice I think I would like one but needs new wheels, some work on the front and maybe a new exhaust, but I would rock one!! That being said a chipped 2.0T GTI would probably be faster
