how was your mileage situation??? I went to Kelowna 2 weeks ago...quite a fun drive.
I filled up + vented before leaving...drove to Kelowna with average speed around 120-130ish..and made the trip BACK to the Petro Canada Truck Stop near Calaway Park where I had to fill up.
Fuel light came on at 1147....I filled up at 1169.4, probably could have made it home with the light on but didn't feel to comfortable as it was 12 o clock at night.
My brother was also along for the trip and he was driving my dads TDI Jetta....it made it home with 1247kms on the trip meter and still NO fuel light!!! Crazyness!

Okanagan lake goes from Kelowna all the way to penticton, Kalmalka lake goes from Vernon to lake country. From the pictures it looks like Kalmalka as the water is soo green there. I consider it to me one of the best looking lakes I have ever seen due to its colour. Sorry I grew up in Kelowna so I kinda know the areaOriginally posted by FlyBoy

. I lived in Vernon until I was 18, so I have seen that route MANY times myself.

oh and nismo i never really kept track of millage but i was at 1/2 tank when i got out there and that was with a full fill and vent here in Calgary.Comment

When filling, just push forward on the little button using the opening of your nozzle and you'll hear the air go PSHHHH, you can pump in a nice $7-8 extra at leastOriginally posted by Davetronz

I grew up on Vancouver island but spend many a Summer in Vernon growing up. I have best friends who live in Kelowna.
I wish there was more work there to move back to BC!
