Have you ever seen cars in warm weather places, they never get dirty becuase it does not rain or anything but they get weeks or months of brake dust build up often looks like powder coating I agree with Brent on this one. And do you really think that is Brittney Spears I have seen better looking girls driving GLIs here

Yes, that is dirt. Or more accurately as Blair said, brake dust. I haven't washed my car in three weeks and the dish on my Axis Milanos looks like they're coated with red clay.
