alrighty so the dealership here in Saskatoon finally got a couple of the MKV's and I went down to take a look.
Exterior: Front is pretty nice excluding the chrome, I've liked it in the pics and it looks pretty good in real life. Rest of the car is just bleh, didn't bother even looking at the details since its just gay.
Interior: Hello MK4, doesn't look like they did much. Front seats look like crap, its like the bolsters were glued on as an afterthought or something, mk4 seats>those POS's. Rear seating area is nice, I like the arm-rest with built in cupholder AND storage. Centre console is totally van'ish and I hate that ashtray which push/flips. Center arm-rest is just stupidly huge...like a van. Trunk is MASSIVE, I seriously thought that the mk4 had a huge trunk but wow...this one could fit at LEAST 10 bodies in it.
Overall: Two thumbs down. I'm not liking the overall mass appeal goal/styling of this car to get people into VW's. Its lost any sort of unique German look to it.
