Yes MK5s have independent rear suspension.

The Civic is pretty cool but it is only a concept so I doubt we will see anything like that, the closest will be Type R trim which we never get anyway.

Yeah it may be dulled down a bit but probably not too much from that trim (probably will lose the LSD, too expensive for such a popular model). The engine they'll run in it is the K20A2 that's in the 2002-2004 RSX Type S anyways so it won't be a big deal to keep the power numbers....probably lose the center exhaust too just for simplicity.....


And thank god for MkV's getting independent rear suspensions!

Yep.

Things I like about hondas:

- cheap mods
- suspension
- shifting feels sooo good

Things I don't like:

- stock engines too slow
- many of the mods/styles are too aggressive
- modded civic is cliche

Well thought I would bump this up with some new spy photos. Looks pretty close to the concept could be a pretty good car with 200hp.

I think i actually like that quite a bit...we'll see what the price tag is because I have a feeling it'll be stupid.

I saw a civic that I might have traded my car for yesterday, white 04 or 05 SI hatch with some bronzed wheels..Looked pretty damn good but no matter what, they sound like garbage, no matter how much power they put down you cant beat the sound of the VW's...I remember listening to Ryans brullen rip down mikes street cause we had never listened to a 1.8, sounded deadly, and the VR6 is notorious for its sound...
