ok, so after many hours (5-6) and the tiny help of two other fellas, i finally got the stubby installed. it was originally from a seat, stupid me thinking everything would be the same, the only thing thats the same is the cup, everything else, the arms, base, knob and even the wires (the steel kind, i have a manual :() are different. so basically i had to mix and match parts of both mirrors, to get the finished result, something i do not want to go again... especially if its a manual mirror, stringing those farking wires is a biatch!!!

but now, i'm more euro, buahaha.
