It looks alright, but I don't think Jetta fronts look as good on MK4's. But since the post was kinda about the wheels, I can dig it. Colour matched might be cool though like Ryan said. Gunmetal is a bit too overdone. But what do I know, I want steelies
hot color combo!! thats a really good choice on the color
I love the whole JTI thing....IMO the car looks a lot better with a jetta front end on it.. (on the other end, jettas with golf front ends don't look AS good..they get the bad end of the deal)
I'm more of a fan of a Jetta Wagon with the golf front end. (not to hijack your post or anything)
The gold and balck just doesnt work for me, and he could use a bit of window tinting
yeh jetta wgaons with the golf OR jetta front ends are hawt! just depends what kind of style you are going for with the mods (ie if I had a wagon and was goin for a str8 ballin whip with 19x10s then I'd keep the jetta front end. if I put on some like audi rs4s and wanted to go for more of a clean look I'd go for the golf front end)
edit: and as for next seasons "trend", I think most people are going to go with body color matched wheels...

thats true with teh body color match.. personally i've seen custom RH's and BBS painted to like galatic blue and platinum grey and they look hot as hell.. i'm kinda lucky with my current RHs as they are pretty much reflex already.. but my new wheels will be like lime green ricaroni i think
I am getting those Corrado steelies powdercoated for *a very good deal* so I have to decide what colour to paint them, only thing is, my car is black and don't know if I want black wheels, I was thinking maybe grey, or I guess I could consider like a flat black but then it wourd REALLY look like just steelies. Still not sure. He's gonna show me a colour chart to give me some ideas.
I think the painted wheels can look very good on the car depending upon the colour and wheel. I like the black and gold look very traditional and works best with a mesh wheel. That first pic looks like a pchop on the wheel colour to me though. Jason I would just get the steelies powder coated silver or grey
