  • Clayed, NXT and a new mod

Today I clayed my car and did 2 coats of NXT.. I love that stuff.

Last night I also joey'd my headlights in reflex silver.. I like it alot actually. Its pretty subtle compared to what i was thinking it was going to look like.

i used glad press and seal LOL.. i followed this guide http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1567138

but i never used silicone to put them back i just heated them up in the oven again and pushed the outsides back on.. its super easy really..

as for the tails simon they still haven't shipped.. i have no clue when :(

oh james for NXT forget crappy tire.. i've seen it at every partsource, and a ton of napas now..

press and seal eh? that would've been way easier than shitty tape like James and I used.

I had no problem finding NXT, I think it works alright too...I use it to get rid of the power swirls.....Looks good though, I was considering joeying my lights (20th style though) with T-red.....not sure what it would look like....

Re: Clayed, NXT and a new mod

I found NXT at part source. I clayed my dub and waxed it and it looks sharp now.

But Ryan, those headlights look good. It's a simple little mod, by matching it to the color of the car, but it sure does add a little something. And I sure do like that little something.

Hey Mike- did you wax yer whip last weekend? If not, we should do it this weekend, Ill go grab some NXT today and lunch from Napa..Maybe throw those headlights in as well

Anyways, the glad press and seal was a rad idea, I read that post on vortex the week after we did mine but I would suggest sealing them Ryan..I mean, your not driving in the winter but you never know.
