haha yah i shoulda, but i was chillin to kanye at the time. just before goin out for cruise night.

holy moly guys, if you have the opportunity to spend a sunday night during the summer in winnipeg, take it. thousands of cars cruising up and down portage till 2 in the mooorning. it was fresh as hell.

The whole Winnipeg cruise scene has been on CBC news a few times.

The whole Winnipeg cruise scene has been on CBC news a few times.

and rightfully so, its insane! cruised by at about 8pm, and parking lots are LINED with cars facing portage so they can sit in their cars and watch, and by 9pm its packed and full until late. such a good time, so many hot cars.

Portage Avenue... its what Transcanada turns into when it enters winnipeg. Sorta the 16th Avenue equivalent to Calgary. It's a long road all the way through town, 3 and 4 lanes wide each way.

Yeah, growing up in Westwood, we used to cruise from Unicity to downtown. That would be the strip. People just cruise up and down Portage on Sunday nights. It started out with a bunch of older muscle cars and it expanded from there.
