What did you do to your Audi today?

Figured it would be neat to see what everyone is doing to there Audi (or vw) day to day, and would keep people more active!


I started one a while back in my local forums and on Audizine for the B7 Rs4 group it was a hit, and keeps ppl together

sent my summers for powdercoating, going for a darker gunmetal (tdr 1.2 wheels)

Okay I’ll bite... I have my main build thread in project pad.

Yesterday I spent some time on my wiring, identifying everything so that when I start soldering in the car it is quicker and mistake free!





Finished repairing and replacing the foam in my heater box and converted it from vacuum controls to manual out of an RS2

Yesterday but it works, I swapped out bad summers on the S4 and found my CV boot is ripped. Guess I'll be fixing that before new summers go on.

Finally decent enough out. Removed 27 years of “stuff” from car. Pretty much ready to start reassembly.

Put my clutch switch in.... the wrong spot. Redo hopefully tonight. Put a air filter in the rs4 as well.

Washed the golf r and noticed a huge door dent right on the seam.

Lol...wrong spot. I feel your pain. I rebuild my CV axle today. Pulled it out, poped off the joint cleaned it with new boot and forgot the plastic spacer...only noticed after I was all done and it was Installed and Tq to spec. Guess I'll be pulling it again tomorrow.

Ya I didn’t realize there was two of them. I got it in the proper spot now but I couldn’t test it as the kids are all sleeping and wife would kick me out if I started the car. 1st world problems. Haha

Swapped over to summer shoes! (With Derek's help. And by help, I mean he did everything while I drank beer.)

Nothing new... Valve body for tranny is in so that's getting done, and they are reviewing the steering as the rack swap didn't solve the issue. I have a 2018 A4 S-Line as a loaner for the week so it's not all bad...
