Ive heard a lot of mk1 tt owners upgrading to the Honda s2000 air filter so I decided to give it a try.
For anyone who has a 225 tt it's a direct fit into the maf but if you have the the 180 you'll need a reducer. My impressions if it is that it was slightly louder than the k&n I had in there but it's not going to make any huge performance gains. What it did for me was it felt like it "fixed" the performance in f the car as in it felt smoother in the higher rpms but nothing really in the low. The filter probably made my revo tune work more efficiently as well. It's a worthy upgrade cause it's inexpensive for anyone with a TT.
