              Congrats! Couple guys I know have shipped cars from Japan and have had zero problems.

                But how are you getting a 2001 RS4 before 2016? 15 year rule no?

                    It goes by the earliest manufacture date of the model of that you are importing. So for the b5 RS4 that would have been late September 1999. There are 6029 left out there made from 1999-2001 and one has my name on it.

                        Bingo... Car is actually manufactured in April 2001. So it is a bit of a wait however these cars are getting very rare and more expensive to find. I might fly to Japan to go for a test drive anyways


                        I bought a B5 S4 Avant euro spec that will keep me occupied until then.

                              So you are not getting the RS4 until at least april of next year?
