The Audi Quattro Clubsport was an amazing car (even better in person too) but the widebody is just too costly to put into production so the production version definitely loses a lot compared to that, which is a shame but I think the way it will be. I still have some faith as an A3 sedan is a pretty sharp car in person, but the M2 could be tough to beat in many respects.

Agreed. Until I see the 2 cars actually in person... I'll reserve final judgement. God dammit though... so many reasons to go to Frankfurt this year. Arrrrgh!

No Hatch, and Also looks like sans widebody. That sucks... but its nice to see more rs models coming. Saw an article claiming that they will be pushing for the new c8 rs6 wagon here.

ya first ttrs motor wasnt aluminum block

Here's my issue with this. The RS3 as a sedan, is too small to be really usable and the S4 is more appropriate. BUT.. the RS3 hatchback, is basically perfection. Tons of usability with all the go fast bits. I simply do not believe there is no market for the hatchback when the Focus RS is entirely pre-sold out for the entire 2016 model year. WRX/STI sedan only, Evo discontinued. How will the RS3 hatch not sell out?!

I've tweeted Audi but I'm debating writing in. Give me an RS3 hatch in nardo grey. Moot point if the '16 has the ZF 8sp though as the only option.
